To all, our sorority sisters who did not know about what happened at Janey's house Sunday before our sorority meeting Monday, I wanted to share this email she sent me.

You should have been here!  Bambi's Mama came bouncing through the kitchen window this afternoon.  She crashed around slinging pot plants and glass everywhere.  Then, she took off for the living room but lost interest after smacking into the mirror and cedar chest.  She took a look at the library (again with the window and pot plants).  Finally, she made her exit through the back door (after Bill ran to open it).  It's a mess in here and I really think we need to change our meeting place to the Senior Center.

I received another email a couple hours later that Bill helped to clean up the dirt and glass and she mopped up the deer blood and said, forward ho!  It's not every day you have a deer to show up at/in your house!

The mirror the deer smacked into!

Lucy introducing her daughter, Mae to show us some self-defense lessons using Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

Lucy's daughter, Mae, getting ready to show us moves in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

Chris Patin volunteering.

Katie Hossley opening her Secret Sister gift for Valentine's Day.

Look what Anita's Secret Sister gave her!

Katie filling up her glass container with candy kisses.

Sorority sisters enjoying downtime before we all left for the evening.  Janey had a tall tale to tell about the deer that came to visit her and Bill.  Her coffee table was removed for the demonstration of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu self-defense moves.
