Update on Merrilyn Anthony

Received a message from Pam Gee (Nov. 18) and she said that Merrilyn had her first radiation treatment Monday and will have a treatment every morning – at double the usual dose. She has had her chemo port put in and the doctors will determine that schedule soon. Please pray for the doctors and nurses who minister to her and pray hard for healing.

November Omega Chapter Meeting

Tonight we held our model chapter meeting for our members-at-large at Cindy Calais lovely home on Main Street. We mainly discussed where we were going to hold our Christmas Party and decided after much discussion, to have it at Toney's Restaurant on Mission 66 on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 7:00. Husbands are also invited and need to bring a gag gift for them that will be numbered. Also, our members-at-large will need to bring a gift and they will also be numbered. We are all looking forward to this festive occasion. Nancy Luchessi will be calling us a week in advance to see what we would like on the menu. Vera Brown discussed the members-at-large test that they will need to take in order to be inducted into our sorority. It was agreed by members to wait until after the New Year.

Members-at-large present were, Laura McCallum, Katie Hossley, Shannon Curro and Kathy Lee. Absent was Janie Seabergh, Jane Laboda and Pam Melsheimer. After the meeting we enjoyed finger sandwiches, potato salad, chips and a delicious fresh apple cake with ice cream. Refreshments were served.
